Striker Consulting is an independent practice built around agentic AI architecture and network engineering — the two areas I have the deepest, most current expertise in.
Background
These days my primary focus is agentic AI: I work as an agentic AI platform and harness architect, and I consult on agent design, AI adoption strategy, and turning working prototypes into production-grade agents. I built AgentExamples to make the practical differences between agent frameworks concrete rather than theoretical, and MCP-Transition, a walkthrough of evolving a naive tool-using agent into an MCP-based one. Underneath that is a long-running background in networking: IP/MPLS and optical network architecture, network automation, and software-defined networking — bringing programmability to networks traditionally managed by hand.
I've also built and shipped a few public products along the way — Sunfire, an AI video-generation platform built with Suzanne Bayles Consulting, and the LLM Battleground, a tool for comparing language models head-to-head. I've spoken publicly about this work too — see Projects & News for a talk given at Hacker Dojo on building AI apps.
I also write about AI on my blog, The Great AI Reboot, and host A.I. Caramba!, a YouTube podcast looking at AI from a philosophy and social-impact angle.
